Thematic issues of scientific journals of Ukraine devoted to European integration
Project organizer: the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
Project publisher: Publishing House «Helvetica»
Project goal: to promote the European integration subject in various studies by scientists, HEIs, and scientific institutions of Ukraine.
On February 20, 2014, the russian army launched the seizure of the Crimean peninsula, and therefore, it was the day when russia violated international law for the first time that was qualified as an act of aggression against Ukraine. On that day, in Kyiv, the Ukrainian criminal authorities shot everyone who defended the European integration aspirations of the Ukrainian people on the Maidan. In fact, the russia-Ukraine war began on that very day; it was triggered by the European vector of Ukraine’s development. On February 24, 2022, russia unleashed a full-scale invasion, committing thousands of war crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine.
On June 23, 2022, Ukraine was granted EU candidate status, which once again legally consolidated the European integration choice of the Ukrainian people, which they continue to defend in the war, at the pan-European level.
Over the past 5 months, Ukrainian scientists have continually demonstrated the importance of the scientific and educational front by uniting for mutual assistance and future victory. To attract more attention of the monolithic scientific community of Ukraine to the European integration topic, in July 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine began to implement the project “Thematic issues of scientific journals of Ukraine devoted to European integration" (Information is available on the MES website).
The project provides for merging journals in the following subject areas and specialties: education and pedagogy; culture and art; history and archaeology; philosophy; philology; political science; economics, management and administration, service sector; psychology; journalism; law; public management and administration.
All research papers submitted by Ukrainian scientists to the project’s thematic issues are published free of charge. The project’s publisher is Publishing House “Helvetica”, which has donated UAH 500.000 for its implementation.
